TISS 2024 Admissions to its Work Integrated Vocational Programs Started

The 2024 admission cycle to the School of Vocational Education (SVE) at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) has started. It offers a unique educational opportunity through its Work Integrated Training Programmes (WITP). This initiative combines academic learning with practical workplace experience, enabling students to earn while they learn. The model is designed to facilitate hands-on training in collaboration with Skill Knowledge Providers (SKPs), offering stipends during the training period.

The SVE's programs are structured to provide flexibility with multiple entry and exit points: a Diploma after one year, an Advanced Diploma after two, and a B.Voc degree after three years. The programs cover a wide array of sectors:

Eligibility for these diverse programs generally requires a 10+2 qualification in a relevant stream. The programs are designed to cater to a broad audience with fees ranging from Rs.30,000 to Rs.1,20,000, alongside examination and caution deposit fees.

There is no entrance test. The last date to apply is 24th June.

TISS adheres to the Government of India's reservation policy, ensuring inclusive access to education across various social and economic backgrounds.
